Yesterday I spent the day driving home from Alabama after visiting my Mama and Andrea. It was a bittersweet trip because I loved spending time with them, but there was a little bit of heartbrokenness during my trip. During my drive, I was starting to get a little bit of road rage because people can be "inconsiderate" or "careless drivers". As I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, this song came on the radio. Listening to this song, my anger and frustrations immediately went away and I just starting singing as loud as I could with my radio blaring and window down. Because it WAS a beautiful day and I felt like God played the song to remind me that I am so blessed and have to remain grateful and faithful in him.
Then the next song that came on, I had never heard it before. It brought so much joy to me and really brought my spirits up. So I spent the majority of my drive listening to Christian music and taking some time to worship during my 8.5 hr drive.
I love moments when God shows himself when I least expect it. <3

It's been awhile...
I am excited to be back on here 2 years after my last post and can truly tell you how much better life is!
I have wonderful co-workers I can call my best friends.
I finally feel like I'm settling into my teaching career and becoming a GREAT teacher. (I strive to be anyways!)
I have 14 weeks til I am finished with grad school!
I have 2 beautiful baby nieces I can spoil rotten! (Okay, so Soso isn't really a baby anymore at the age of 2...)
I finally got a tattoo that I have wanted for over 2 years!!!! In memory of my Grandma Joy. The hummingbird reminds me of Grandpa and how we would sit out on the porch and watch the birds. Hummingbirds have always been my favorite!
The best decision I ever made.... I FINALLY GOT A DOG!!! Bentley is the perfect dog for me and I love him so much!
I recently started a "Bucket List" since a friend of mine passed away from Ovarian cancer. She was only two years older than me, so it really hit home that life is short. I plan on posting it one of these days.
Well, this my wimpy attempt at a blog post! But life is good!
